Time Flies

Wow! I can't believe how long it has been since I last posted. There has been alot of water flowing under this bridge since then. Went on our cruise at the beginning of November and had an absolute wonderful time. Been playing catch up ever since.

Happy Thanksgiving!! (belated) We had a wonderful Thanksgiving....ate way to much but enjoyed it all. We went to a wedding over the weekend and it was so very simple yet so pretty. I love weddings, especially around this time of the year because they are so festive.

I will have to catch up more tomorrow.

Kenney C and Me

Wow, I forgot what it was like to have a baby in the house again. That's just what it feels like with my new puppy. He is getting into everything and he loves to chew. But when night time comes and he is ready to go to sleep he is so sweeeeet. He loves to just lay on his back and give you the eyes. Yes, I am hooked.

The cruise countdown has started!! Just a little over 4 weeks to go. Yes, I have started to pack. Not in a suitcase, but just making sure that everything fits and what accessories I need to bring along. Can't really begin to enjoy it for another two weeks or so.

The sweetness of Life

Well, it's been several days since I last posted. I am feeling much better and God has blessed me beyond words.

Saturday was my birthday and my husband and daughters surprised me with a puppy! Yes, you heard right a puppy. He is a miniture dachshund and is the most precious thing. He was 7 weeks old on Sunday and only weighs 3 lbs. He keeps us up all night and he chews on everything but he's so cute that you must forgive him. I named him Kenney C after my favorite singer Kenny Chesney. He's just a baby and he makes me realize how old I really am. We finally purchased a new bed and now I would just like to try it out sometime. Oh well, he won't be little forever. I will try to post pictures someday when I learn how to use that function.

That's what friends are for!!

I am in a much better state of mind today. Thanks to two very precious friends that God has blessed me with. I love it when He speaks to others about you and they respond to His calling. Not that anything has changed in my life, but my attitude. Thank you my precious friends for caring enough to reach out to me when I needed you the most.

I start yet another round of 5 days of antibiotics tomorrow. Let's hope this is the last round for a while. We went and purchased a treadmill today and I really can't wait to try it out. After all, I have to get ready for my cruise! It's only 56 day's away.......yeee hawww! There's some Texan for you. I am easily amused.

My daughter's are both in two weddings. One is in October and the other in November. I am also involved and already begining to get stressed out. Man, I hate to see what I am going to be like when my girls get married. It's the whole bridesmaid dress thing. Way too much confusion going on here. That really stresses the detailed and organizational freak that I am! Of course, being sick has not helped either.

Days later

Well, I had to wait a few days to collect my thoughts from my last visit to the doctor's office. I am sure that you can tell that it was not a good visit. I found out that the last 10 days of taking an antibiotic and sleeping my life away was for not. The antibiotic did absolutely nothing! And the doctor is at a complete loss as to what to do.... he decided to put me on another antibiotic for 5 more days. Today is the third day and I have to say that I dont think that it is working either. My future looks kind of grim at the moment. I think that my next stop is the hospital, but I dont see what they will be able to do if I cant take anything. I am really struggling with my thoughts and where they take me these days. Have you ever had that feeling that your days are numbered? Well, thats kind of what I think the doctor was trying to tell me.

I would appreciate your prayers! I dont know how much fight I have in me right now.

Labor Day

Wow, today was a great day! I can tell you that there was no labor done on labor day! Ha Ha

My husband took the day off and we spent the day resting and relaxing. We ate left over chicken soup from the day before. This is when soup taste the best and watched alot of television. (or should I say sports) Later in the evening we took our drive in the country that we love to do. We just get in the car and drive to who knows where we will end up. Today we went up the highway and it began to rain on us, so we took a country road and took the long way home. We stopped along the way and grabbed a bite to eat. I love driving down country roads not knowing where you are going or where you will end up. It's a great time to just enjoy each others company!

Unfortunately for my husband its back to work tomorrow. And here I am again in the wee hours of the morning wide awake. I am on my last day of antibotics so lets hope I can get back on some kind of normal schedule. We have a busy week with Life group starting back up again and something everyday this weekend. Wow, this summer just flew by.

Well, I better try to get some sleep. It's laundry day tomorrow and since I have been sick it has really piled up!! LOL

Well, its my first try at this...that is putting my thoughts down on paper. Not sure how good I will be at it, but here goes.

This has been a really ruff week. I have been sick since last Tuesday and I am really worn out by it. I have been put on antibiotics but I am allergic to them so I have to take Benedryl with every dose. That's 4 times a day!!! Can you say sleeeeeep? Cause that is about all that I have been doing. I am starting to feel much better, but I still don't have my voice back yet. My children tell me that I scare them with this raspy utter that I get out. Then sometimes my voice will break thru for a word or two and I sound like a young boy going thru the change.

I am looking forward to this weekend. Maybe I can go for a drive somewhere just to get out of the house. Pray for me friends!! I do have to say that I am quite rested and that you can catch up on your sleep, it just might not be the way that you would like to have done it! LOL
